Print a clean receipt for every sale from Oja POS, on a small thermal printer or any printer your computer can use. Here is how.
A printed receipt makes your shop look serious and stops arguments about what was bought and paid. Oja POS prints one for any sale, with your shop's name and address, the items, taxes, total and how the customer paid.
Before you start
- The Odogwu or Chairman plan.
- A printer connected to your computer. A small 58mm or 80mm thermal receipt printer is best, but any printer works.
- Your shop's address saved in your store details, so it prints at the top.
Complete the sale and click Print Receipt
When you complete a sale, the Transaction Complete screen opens. Click Print Receipt.
Choose your printer
Your browser's print window opens. Pick your receipt printer and print. The receipt shows your shop's name and address, the order number and date, each item with quantity and price, the subtotal, taxes and total, the payment method, the customer and "Thank you for your business!"
Printing tips
- In the print window, set the paper size to your receipt roll and turn off headers and footers for a clean receipt.
- Pick your receipt printer as the default printer, so you only press Print.
- Prefer no paper? Share the receipt on WhatsApp from the Oja app instead.
