What you will learn
Register as a merchant, set your business name, choose your store website address, and go live on Oja.
Before you start
Open the Oja merchant app and sign in with your store account. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Some features (like advanced analytics) require an active subscription.
Step-by-step guide
Follow these steps in order:
- Open the Oja app and tap Start selling or Create store (or open the Sign up store flow if you are new).
- Step 1 — Personal info: Enter your full name and email. Add your address if you want (optional). Tap Continue.
- Step 2 — Security: Create a password (at least 8 characters with letters, numbers, and symbols) and confirm it. Tap Continue. You can also use Continue with Google or Continue with Apple on step 1.
- Step 3 — Business details: Enter your Business Name (e.g. Kemi's Closet). Your Website URL slug is generated automatically — you can edit it. Wait for the green message that your address is available (your-store.useoja.com). Write a Store Description (at least 10 characters). Tap Continue.
- Step 4 — Final details: Select how you heard about Oja from the dropdown. Add a Referral Code if you have one (optional). Tap the final button to create your store.
- After success, you land in the merchant dashboard. Add your first product and complete store settings when you are ready.
Helpful tips
Keep these in mind:
- Use a short, memorable website slug — customers will see it as yourname.useoja.com.
- If the slug is taken, pick one of the suggested alternatives shown on screen.
If something goes wrong
Try this first:
- Pull down to refresh the screen if data looks outdated.
- Sign out and sign back in if buttons do not respond.
- Update the app to the latest version from your app store.
- Take a screenshot of any error message and contact Oja support.
