How to configure how customers pay you

Before you start

Open the Oja merchant app and sign in with your store account. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Some features (like advanced analytics) require an active subscription.

Step-by-step guide

Follow these steps in order:

  1. Open More → Settings → How customers pay.
  2. Review Payment integration at the top (fees and remittance schedule).
  3. Use the Online, Offline, and POS tabs.
  4. Toggle Paystack for card/online payments.
  5. Toggle Cash, Bank transfer, POS (Moniepoint/Opay), and Oja Terminal per channel.
  6. Choose who pays transaction fees (customer or merchant) where shown.
  7. Changes save automatically — wait for the confirmation indicator.

If something goes wrong

Try this first:

  1. Pull down to refresh the screen if data looks outdated.
  2. Sign out and sign back in if buttons do not respond.
  3. Update the app to the latest version from your app store.
  4. Take a screenshot of any error message and contact Oja support.
