How to add a physical product on Oja

Before you start

Open the Oja merchant app and sign in with your store account. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Some features (like advanced analytics) require an active subscription.

Step-by-step guide

Follow these steps in order:

  1. From the dashboard, open Products and tap Add product (or the + button).
  2. On the New product screen, set Product type to Physical.
  3. Enter the product Name and Short description. Optionally check Add more product details for a long description and tags.
  4. Tap Category to pick or create a category.
  5. Under Options, choose whether the product has variations (size, color). If yes, tap Edit variations to add option groups and SKUs.
  6. Under Pricing, enter your price. Tap the discount area if you want a percentage or fixed discount.
  7. Under Photos, upload clear images (first image is the main thumbnail).
  8. Tap Details to set weight, dimensions, SKU, and physical-specific fields. Save Details.
  9. Under Fulfillment, choose Shipping and set delivery rules for this product.
  10. Under Inventory, set stock quantity and low-stock alerts if shown.
  11. Tap Create to publish, or Draft to save without publishing.

Helpful tips

Keep these in mind:

  1. Use bright, well-lit photos on a plain background — they convert better than dark or blurry shots.
  2. Set accurate stock so you do not oversell.

If something goes wrong

Try this first:

  1. Pull down to refresh the screen if data looks outdated.
  2. Sign out and sign back in if buttons do not respond.
  3. Update the app to the latest version from your app store.
  4. Take a screenshot of any error message and contact Oja support.
